I am a second-year student at Harvard College studying applied mathematics. My work sits at the intersection of game theory and geopolitics: how formal models of cooperation and defection hold up when the players are states with asymmetric power, asymmetric information, and choices that are never simply binary. The writing on this site comes out of that work.
I am a research intern at the Regional Institute of Security Studies, where I analyse Russia’s economic relationship with China through customs data, Deputy Chair of the Harvard Institute of Politics’ Global Affairs Program, the undergraduate body’s first International Student Liaison, and co-founder of Varsko Intelligence. Previously I was a guest researcher at the University of Copenhagen’s centre for international courts and researched military applications of synthetic biology for NATO’s innovation division.
In 2025, when the federal government moved to restrict Harvard’s international students, I spoke publicly against the university yielding, in profiles by the New York Times, the Guardian, and Reuters, and on CNN and NPR. The full list is on the press page.
